We’re all getting Cox-Blocked. 

Our Governor, Spencer Cox, is determined to prevent our state from moving forward, and is blocking us from the future Utahns want to see.  

Public Education Funding? Cox-Blocked.  Why invest in our kid’s public schools when you could spend $40 million on private religious school vouchers? And yes, we are still 49th in the country for school funding. 

LGBTQ+ Rights? Cox-Blocked. LGBTQ+ protections have eroded under the Cox administration. Cox used to talk the talk, but he’s never walked the walk. His stance is clear: rights for some, but not for all. You know, because fairness is just so complicated.

Peaceful Protest? Cox-Blocked again! He might claim he wants to “disagree better,” but Gov. Cox said he was “just so proud” of how police arrested students exercising their First Amendment rights by peacefully protesting at the University of Utah and in Salt Lake City.

A woman’s right to choose? Absolutely Cox-Blocked. Governor Cox supports extreme abortion bans and is doing everything he can to limit decisions about safe, legal, healthcare options for women—decisions that should be between a woman and her doctor, in the hands of the governor. 

Protecting Public Lands? Totally Cox-Blocked. Whether it's fighting for more oil & gas leases in sensitive areas, or supporting the rollback of Bears Ears’ monument status, Cox just wants to block the federal government in any way he can.

We deserve a governor who doesn’t block our forward progress. It’s time we remind Governor Cox that he works for us—not the other way around.
