Nothing says “coming out in Utah” like diving right in -- literally.

This design honors the brave and fabulous soldiers who found clarity, acceptance, or just a really dramatic lighting cue at The Mayan, Utah’s most chaotic, jungle-themed fever dream of a restaurant. With cliff divers, animatronic birds, and suspiciously loud thunder every 12 minutes, it was the perfect backdrop for a coming-out story that deserved theatrics.

The Mayan is gone now (RIP to an icon), but your gay awakening among the faux vines and fajita smoke lives on. This design is for everyone who said, “This atmosphere is a lot… and so am I.”

Because some of us didn’t just come out, we cannonballed into it.
